"A SENTIMENTAL VERSE IS LIKE A SONG, FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SING."

~ Richard Lawrence Belford ~

Writer / Photographer

Richard illustrates his writing with photography and had his inspirational illustrations first published

in the May 2007 issue of England's Max Publishing's Progressive Greetings Magazine.

He has also had his parables "A Mother's Work is Never Done" and "God Only Knows" published by

Mountain Wings; " The world's largest inspirational email "

with over one million subscribers in a hundred and twenty-five countries.

Richard has always hoped to have his writings offered on inspirational products, similar to the successful way in which the

Footprints poem has been and has now had his inspirational writings featured on a series of wall plaques designed by

Reed Photo Art & Imaging inc.

They can be previewed on this website's Product Gallery and are available for retail purchase at either

signsforyourlife.com, amazon.com or by clicking on the Signs For Your Life Banner at the bottom of this page and can also

be purchased wholesale by retailers through asignofwisdom.com.

Richard's artwork has since been published in the United Kingdom's highest circulation business magazine for publishers,

suppliers, buyers & retailers of greetings cards; Lema Publishing's Greetings Today Magazine, where his insights on

inspirational writing are quoted throughout their August 2011 issue's feature article on verse, sentiment & Sympathy entitled

"An Eloquent Send"

It also references his poem  "A Mother's Work Is Never Done" and a letter he received from Prince William.

Richard would also like the privilege of providing some much needed solace to those in grief through encouraging words

and believes that his parables/inspirational illustrations can provide fresh choices to funeral stationery & memorial products,

choices that cast a much more hopeful, encouraging and celebratory light, not on a person's death, but on their life.

He would not only like his artwork to serve the bereavement market through their inclusion in registry books,

acknowledgment cards & service folders, but also on cremation urns & memorial plaques.

His writing has been published in the September 2010, January 2011, July 2011 and June 2012 issues

of Mulberry Publication's Funeral Service Times. The United Kingdom's largest circulation funeral magazine

and his inspirational illustrations "If Not For You" and "Remember When" have both been published

in Funerals Today Magazine, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Richard has also had his parables and inspirational illustrations published in a number of journals, magazines & periodicals

listed on this website's Publishing Credits Page and he invites you to view a selection of his writings on its Parable's Page.
